The images in this project represent a body of work that was captured during daily walks near my home and natural spaces that I frequent. The original intention of these walks was not to make images but served as a form of meditation and reflection of my daily activities. An act of decompression, a chance to slow down. Some of these places I had visited for years before I decided to carry a camera with me. It wasn’t until I peeled away the outer layers of my daily life that I started to see this simple yet complex landscape.
